We Give Back

The Y-12 FCU Gives Foundation

On July 17, 2017, Y-12 Federal Credit Union formed Y-12 FCU Gives Foundation, which was founded to extend the credit union's mission of "people helping people" into the philanthropic realm of charitable giving and support.


Y-12 Federal Credit Union CEO Mark Ziegler was instrumental in the formation of the Gives Foundation as he saw the positive difference a foundation can make in the local community at his former credit union. "We need to take care of the community we serve by serving the underserved.  We have been successful as an organization and the right thing to do is give back to the communities," said Ziegler.

Member Service Consultant (Full Time & Part Time)

The purpose of this position is to process member's requested financial transactions, resolve problems, and answer questions; to identify and suggest financial services that would improve our members' lives. Provides prompt, professional and courteous support and assistance to internal departments, retail branches and members.

This position is responsible for the design, development and implementation of application development projects and system maintenance efforts. Work involves working on multiple high-level projects concurrently. Resources to do the job require reliance on technical knowledge of programming concepts, architecture and process enhancement.

Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving the success of the credit union’s Sales Program using staff training, mentoring, and coaching to maximize the sales and deepen relationship with members.  Responsible for the development and implementation of sales training and coaching best practices.  
 

Financial Outreach Manager

This candidate will oversee education and community outreach programs that foster strong relationships with area schools and service organizations. Direct a member financial counseling program to promote the financial well -being of members and reduce risk to the credit union.

VP, Lending Operations

As our Loan Process improvement Champion, this candidate will direct all aspects of lending operations collaborating with lending SME’s and IT support by managing systems and processes associated with loan originations, processing, funding, servicing, and product development across all loan departments –mortgages, business, and consumer (including indirect). Leads integrations, product and system development, implementations, process improvements, and daily lending operational support to ensure a “Wow” and “Amazon easy” experience for our staff and members alike.

Payment Solutions Specialist - Part Time

Responsible for dispute analysis, fraud analysis, and all card related processing while providing exceptional member experiences, internal support, transaction processing, and maintenance for card programs.

Assistant Manager, Personal Teller Center 

The purpose of this position is to optimize the performance of the centralized Teller Center which processes member's requested financial transactions using video technology via Interactive Teller Machines. Assist managers with coordinating daily duties and responsibilities in the teller center in order to most effectively utilize staff and resources while enhancing the member experience. Serve as a role model, mentor, and training resource for tellers in the teller center.


Personal Teller (Part Time)

The purpose of this position is to process member's requested financial transactions using video technology via Personal Teller Machines. Identify and provide information regarding credit union products and services that will benefit members. Provides prompt, professional and courteous service to internal departments, retail branches, and members.
