Economic Impact Payment Update

The Internal Revenue Service and the Treasury Department began delivering a second round of Economic Impact Payments as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021.  The initial direct deposits are already being received into member accounts and paper checks and debit cards have begun to be mailed. 
 
As with the first round of payments, most recipients will receive these payment by direct deposit.  You can check to see if your deposit has been received by logging into your online or mobile banking account.  Select the account that would receive the direct deposit and click on pending transactions.  Pending transactions show automatically in the mobile app.  If you do not see the deposit now, check back later.  We will continue receiving deposits over the next few weeks. 
 
Y-12 FCU will post the funds to your account as they are received, however we cannot control when the IRS sends the payments.  We are unable to answer questions about the status of your payment.  For more detailed information on stimulus payments, please visit www.irs.gov.  If you see your stimulus being sent to an account number you do not recognize on the IRS website, please contact your tax preparer.

 

Direct Deposit

The fastest way to get your stimulus payment is through direct deposit. The IRS can help you set up direct deposit if it has not been set up already when you last filed your taxes.  Getting direct deposit is easy! All you need is your account number and the routing number to get set-up.  Visit our direct deposit webpage for details on where to find this information. 

e-Alerts

e-Alerts are messages sent to your mobile device to notify you via text and/or email of certain transactions or events happening on your account, including direct deposit. 

To set up your e-Alerts, just log into your Online Banking account to get started. Then, click on the "Services" tab to set up your alerts. You can manage your e-Alerts at any time through our Online Banking system.
