Annual Meeting is set for Thursday, February 15, 2018

All Credit Union members are invited to attend our Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2018, 6:30 PM at the DoubleTree Hotel, 215 S. Illinois Avenue, Oak Ridge.  The President / CEO and Chairman of the Board will provide updates on credit union operations and financials.

 

There are two vacancies on the Board of Directors to be filled, both of which are three-year terms.  Each year the Board of Directors appoints a Nominating Committee to review and nominate qualified candidates.  The Nominating Committee has nominated the following individuals to fill the open positions: Ron Honeycutt and David Rupert. You may see their resumes below.

 

In addition, petition applications will be available by December 1st at all branch locations for persons interested in running for one of the two open Board positions.  Petition applications must be complete and include a petition of at least 500 signatures of Y-12 FCU members age 18 or older. Petitions and petition applications must be postmarked by December 31st and mailed to:  Y-12 Federal Credit Union, ATTN: Board Secretary, PO Box 2512, Oak Ridge, TN 37831-2512. 

 

There will be no nominations from the floor, nor an election conducted by ballot at the Annual Meeting.

Ronald A. Honeycutt
Residence:    Anderson County
Profession:    Labor Relations Manager, Retired, after 33 years across all three Oak Ridge facilities.
Background:
Volunteer 25 years at Y12FCU; former Chairman of Supervisory Committee, 23 years on Y-12 Federal Credit Union Board of Directors, currently serve as Chairman.
 
Education:    
B.S. Business Administration (Personnel Management) University of Tennessee 

David A. Rupert
Residence:  Knox County
 
Profession: 
Retired from ORNL in 2013 after 35 years within the Oak Ridge Complex 
Served in a myriad of management positions including Program Director, Division Director and Senior HR Manager
 
Background:
Volunteer 17 years at Y-12 Federal Credit Union; former Chairman of Supervisory Committee, 6 years on Y-12 Federal Credit Union Board of Directors, have served as Secretary of the Board and currently serve as Vice Chairman.
