Annual Meeting is set for Thursday, February 20, 2020

All Credit Union members are invited to attend our Annual Meeting on Thursday, February 20, 2020, 6:30 PM at Y-12 Federal Credit Union's Conference Center at 2375 Cherahala Blvd, Knoxville.  The President / CEO and Chairman of the Board will provide updates on credit union operations and financials.


There are three vacancies on the Board of Directors to be filled, all of which are three-year terms.  Each year the Board of Directors appoints a Nominating Committee to review and nominate qualified candidates.  The Nominating Committee has nominated the following individuals to fill the open positions: Tom Fisher, Hurtis Hodges and David Liles. You may see their resumes below.


There will be no nominations from the floor, nor an election conducted by ballot at the Annual Meeting. 


Tom Fisher
Residence:  Knox County
Profession/Career:  Worked at the Oak Ridge Y-12 facility over 40 years, variety of responsibilities including R&D, production, programs, currently employed by design lab Los Alamos National Laboratory stationed at Y-12. Began serving on the Y-12 FCU BOD in 2017.
Education:  BS Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology

Hurtis Hodges
Residence:  Knox County
Profession/Career: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Facility Manager with over twenty-seven years of progressive engineering, project management and management experience at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).   ORNL is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and managed and operated by UT-Battelle.  Served on the Y-12 FCU Supervisory Committee from 2013-2016.  Began serving on the Y-12 FCU BOD in 2017.
Background:  Originally from Atlanta, GA but has lived in Knoxville for a total of over 26 years. 
Education:  Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Morehouse College, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee 

David Liles
Residence: Oak Ridge
Profession/Career: Retired from Y-12 after 37 years in Accounting and Budget
Background: Credit Union volunteer since 2013. Served on Asset and Liability Management Committee and Supervisory Committee. Served on Y-12 Federal Credit Union Board of Directors since 2018.
Education: B.S. Business Administration (Accounting Major) University of Tennessee Knoxville

Any member 18 years or older who is in good standing and who has been a member for at least 3 months may be nominated by completing an application and obtaining signatures from 500 credit union members.
