Our Annual Meeting is set for Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.  Due to COVID-19, this year's meeting will be virtual.  More details on the meeting coming soon. 

 

There are two vacancies on the Board of Directors to be filled, each of which are three-year terms.  Each year the Board of Directors appoints a Nominating Committee to review and nominate qualified candidates.  The Nominating Committee has nominated the following individuals to fill the open positions: Ron Honeycutt and David Rupert. You may see their resumes below.

 

There will be no nominations from the floor, nor an election conducted by ballot at the Annual Meeting. 

Resumes:

Ron Honeycutt
Residence:  Anderson County
Profession/Career:  Labor Relations Manager, Retired, after 33 years across all three Oak Ridge facilities. 
Background:  Volunteer for 28 years at Y-12 Federal Credit Union; former Chairman of Supervisory Committee; 26 years on Y-12 Federal Credit Union Board of Directors; currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Education:  B.S. Business Administration (Personnel Management) University of Tennessee 

David Rupert
Residence:  Knox County
Profession/Career: Retired from ORNL in 2013 after 35 years within the Oak Ridge Complex. Served in a myriad of management positions including Program Director, Division Director and Senior HR Manager.
Background:  Volunteer for 20 years at Y-12 Federal Credit Union; former Chairman of Supervisory Committee; 9 years on Y-12 Federal Credit Union Board of Directors; has served as Secretary of the Board and currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Education:  
B.S. Social Science (Culver-Stockton College, Canton, Missouri)
M.A. Social Science (Truman State University, Kirksville, Missouri)
Executive Management Program, Human Resources, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
Leadership Development Program, University of Tennessee

Any member 18 years or older who is in good standing and who has been a member for at least 3 months may be nominated by completing an application and obtaining signatures from 500 credit union members.
